Luna Wylde Bio
Luna Wylde knows how to make a defiant, rebellious sound. She creates an air of boldness, an enviable swagger that radiates throughout her music.
Born in Louisiana, Luna Wylde grew up surrounded by the sounds of classic rock and gospel music, but it wasn't until college that she found her sound and realized her path. She says, "I had a deep gut feeling that music was my calling shortly after learning I could sing. That gift unfolded and developed over the next few years.” She learned how to play piano and guitar but what really stood out was her unique voice.
Luna Wylde’s songwriting process allowed for a free-flowing collaborative experience that feels so natural. It's easy to see how that energy translated into music. "I would riff melodies, and everyone came together on lyrics," she explains, "Sometimes a word would come, and we would just run with that. Some of the songs just started with us grooving together."
“I know that you want it, sweeter than honey,” she snarls over a driving melody with pulsating drums in “Wild.” Her energy bleeds through the song, instantly capturing your attention and not letting it go. In “Get It,” she exudes the kind of confidence to take on anything. Her voice carries so much weight, it’s strong and defiant, almost howling in the chorus.
The music is a product of the creative energy in the studio. She says, “We’d stay stuck in some accent for the day and not be able to get off. It took us a while to finish the project because we had too much fun in between.”
Luna Wylde's fierce energy is all about following your gut. The pulsating, anthemic songs are made for unleashing your inner badass.
