I’m a social media addict and an expert in curating the perfect social plan for each client and tailoring it to fit their personalities. Well-versed in short-form video content and keeping up with the ever-changing algorithms.

Leading The New Nine, my passion for music journalism and expertise in social media have been instrumental in our growth, including a TikTok following that soared to 60K organically in six months. My role involves staying at the forefront of the music industry, identifying and promoting emerging artists, with a history of spotlighting now-famous talents like Billie Eilish and Kim Petras. At the core, my mission is to deliver cutting-edge music content and create platforms for artists, leveraging my public relations background to cultivate meaningful industry relationships.

I took that love for helping artists thrive on socials to Total Assault where I helped artists build their social platforms from the ground up. Working with legendary names to up-and-comers, I became a "TikTok therapist" who guided artists on the new platform and helped them reach viral and sustainable growth.

As a Social Media and Community Manager at Aimi, I executed content strategies that doubled community engagement and significantly increased brand recognition. This role sharpened my ability to manage and grow online communities, and I pioneered a Discord community release plan that effectively engaged fans. The competencies developed during my recent roles, from content creation to strategic community management, underpin my commitment to driving innovation and excellence in the evolving landscape of music journalism and social media engagement.

After I left Aimi, I moved to another music tech company, Volume.com, a live-streaming company that puts artist's needs first. I worked with their social media team to build their artist community and elevate their social media presence. I quadrupled their TiKTok following and increased reach by 885% and increased engagement by 862% in the first two months. I also spearheaded their creator partnerships, I created a vast database of creators and influencers and built a process that was replicable across each project.

Now, I'm back in the artist marketing world at Milestone Collective, helping artists find their voice and stay authentic on social media. I developed their digital strategy from scratch and implemented a new flow to make onboarding, content creation, and approvals seamless.

I’m always looking for the next big thing, downloading the latest social platforms and obsessing over analytics.

The New Nine: Feminism and Music

The New Nine Origin Story

I grew up in the nineties. My first experience with fandom started with The Spice Girls. Did I necessarily like the music? Not really. I debated which one I wanted to be with my friends (Posh Spice, obviously) and I felt like part of a team. There was nothing more exciting and fun than singing “Wannabe” with my friends.

I have made most of my friends in life based on their musical taste. You learn new music through your friends, you go to shows together, and you go to festivals together. Half of my social interactions in high school were waiting in lines outside music venues. We were there for the music, the interaction with like-minded people, and to experience the artistry of the performer.

The New Nine s a place to experience original content from a uniquely fangirl perspective. We‘ve had a roster of over 15 contributors and have covered SXSW, Coachella, Hangout Fest and countless other festivals and concerts. We have a weekly playlist, features, premieres, and more. I’m so proud of this project and the mission behind it.
